Great Video! Bill Dance is one of my all time fishing heros. I had the opportunity to meet him at the Classic in 06 in Kissimmee. Good Blog. I also live in Lake Wales and enjoy fishing on the Kissimmee Chain. You can check out my blog at: www.myfloridabassfishingexperience.com
Just like many of you, I first learned about fishing from Dad, to respect the outdoors and what it has to offer. You may recall seeing me host the Southern Outdoorsman TV fishing show (aired from Knoxville, TN). I also worked for Abu Garcia as the Assistant Director of Tournaments and Promotions, where I met a lot of nice people and made a lot of friends. I think I could take apart and put back together their spinning and baitcasting reels in my sleep!
I now guide in Central Florida, and have for over fifteen years. I started the Southern Outdoorsman Guide Service to network with Orlando area's best bass fishing guides, in an attempt to create a complete outdoor outfitter service offering most of what Central Florida has to offer. Trophy largemouth bass fishing, exotic hunting, championship golf, wildlife airboat excursions, and unique lodging.
Everything I Ever Needed To Know About Life (& Fishing), I Could Have Learned From Noah's Ark...
One: Don't miss the boat. Two: Remember that we are all in the same boat. Three: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark. Four: Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big. Five: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done. Six: Build your future on high ground. Seven: For safety sake, travel in pairs. Eight: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs. Nine: When you're stressed, float a while. Ten: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals. Eleven: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.
